Corporate Social Responsibility

Bik Bok is part of the Norwegian textile group Varner-Gruppen.

Varner-Gruppen listens to its employees and customers and has therefore drawn up common ethical guidelines for all the chains, holds courses for buyers and collaborates with our suppliers on ethical issues.

Varner-Gruppen's ethical guidelines describe how we and our suppliers are to deal with ethical issues, whether these concern working conditions in Chinese factories, the protection of animals or the environment. The agreement is binding and must be complied with and supervised. This is a major task, and to ensure our document is effective and followed, we have joined the "Initiativ for Etisk Handel" (Initiative for ethical trading) organization. As an IEH member we undertake to document that we are continuously working on specific measures to ensure that our goods are not produced under undignified working conditions.
